My job and I are parallel,
My job is temporary but as for me I want something
permanent,
I want more cash but my job pays little money,
I want to sleep more but my job wakes me up early.
My job and I are parallel,
We do not meet,
My job can only afford green vegetables and second hand
apparel,
But as for me, I want to eat meat.
My job makes me hurry,
And still I get to work late and quarrel with the secretary,
My boss calls me lazy,
And it hurts me crazy,
My job and I are sworn enemies,
I work so hard for meager remedies.
My job and I are two worlds apart,
Though my job has a fancy name, I am a mere church rat,
My job makes me borrow,
And successfully fail to pay tomorrow,
And so sometimes I get arrested,
For a job that I am totally not interested,
In.
My job and I are two bad neighbours,
While my job forces me to walk to town, others are taking a
bus,
So as for me and my job,
We shall not worship the same god.
My job has separated me from my friends,
It has barred me from purchasing latest trends,
Clearly, my job will never make me rich,
If my salary cannot last for one week.
With this kind of job I do,
I cannot enjoy even a dance,
Because I do not have entertainment allowance,
With this kind of job,
I swear I would rather be you.
